Find your center, develop a mindful meditative focus, and create functional art by learning how to use the potter’s wheel. Participants ages 8 and up are invited to join 25-year veteran U-High Fine Arts teacher and professional ceramic artist Brian Wildeman in Gordon Parks Arts Hall's fabulous ceramics classroom for this fun and social learning experience. All skill levels are welcome and any pieces you wish to keep will be bisque fired. Return for the Glaze Phase workshop on November 16 and your pieces will have been fired to ∆6 making them vitreous as well as food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
